Please read in conjunction with our normal Terms and Conditions, prior to booking and or staying at Pineapple Estate Campsite 

Pineapple Estate take the responsibility of its guests and staff seriously.

These protocols are set to inform Pineapple Estate staff and guests on measures that are in place around social distancing on the campsite, from booking your stay through to your departure. 

 

All guests are requested to inform Pineapple Estate Campsite on 01308 488 280 if they have displayed any symptoms within 7 days prior to their stay on site. If a test has been taken and returned positive, the management will require the guest to cancel and rebook at a later date when all members of the party have tested negative.  This rescheduled booking is to take place before the 30th September 2022. 

 

Campsite Facilities 

All the site toilets and showers are open to all guests, however this may change without notice. The welcome hut, including communal fridge and freezer and hot water washing up, is also available, but again may change without notice.  All pitches have access to individual electric and water hook ups. A chemical and grey water waste disposal area is available for use. 

 

Dogs on Site

The orchard next to the campsite will available to guest who are welcome to use it, but are responsible for their own social distancing for themselves and their dogs. The wildlife area is open.

 

Pitch Spacing 

The boundaries of grass pitches have been marked and guests MUST ensure they do not stray over their boundary or pitch closer than 2m to their neighbour.

 

Pitch Preparation

 Arrival times have been altered to allow additional time between stays to allow pitches to ‘air’. Arrival time is now 14:00, departure time remains 11:00. 

 

Request to Guests

Safety is a partnership between both parties and Guests are expected to:

• Be responsible for your own safety and well-being

• Be responsible and social distance between other guests and Pineapple staff

• Ensure all notices and guidelines are adhered to

• To provide their own PPE as necessary and to dispose of used PPE responsibly in the bins provided

• Ensure that all rubbish is disposed of in the appropriate bins located just outside the campsite

• Inform staff of any Coronavirus-related symptoms on site or after departure via telephone or email.

 

Bookings

All bookings to be made online or via the phone prior to arrival. 
Drive-in booking will only be accepted during Reception hours, and dependent on availability. 

All payments for booking to be made via credit card.
We require you to provide contact details including, telephone number, email address & postcode.

 

On Arrival

When entering the Estate you may check in at Reception / Shop, or you can proceed to the campsite and check in via text on 01308 488280 option 1.

To give more time between departures and arrivals for any necessary increased management, the arrival time is from 14:00. 

Pitch allocation will be on a notice board fixed to the Welcome Hut in the campsite. Guest will find their name and allocated pitch number. All pitches are numbered.

 

On Departure

Guests must have departed by 11:00 and all rubbish including discarded PPE, must be disposed of appropriately.

 

General information if needed During Stay

Wi-Fi hotspot– Free, located near the Welcome Hut, enter your email address when logging in.

 

Cancellation due to Covid 19

We know these are uncertain times and we want to help you enjoy quality time, with the peace of mind that should the situation change, your money will be safe. We have introduced a Coronavirus Guarantee, which automatically applies to all new and existing bookings free-of-charge.

In relation to the Coronavirus outbreak, you are covered for the following:

1. The Campsite is closed

2. UK Government restrictions on travel (including Tiers)

3. A member of the party, or close family relative living in the same household, are diagnosed with COVID-19 – a copy of the NHS certificate needs to be supplied

In the event of any of the above circumstances, you can contact us between 28 days and 72 hours before arrival and choose one of the following options:

1. Transfer of dates up until 31th October 2022

2. Cancel and receive a full refund

In all other circumstances our usual terms & conditions apply

Guests with confirmed or suspected Coronavirus

Guests who become unwell on site 

Any guest who becomes unwell during their stay, will be asked to remain in their own accommodation with windows open for ventilation and contact NHS 111 via their own mobile phones for advice and instruction, 999 if their condition worsens.

For those with suspected symptoms Dorset County requests that : “Personal waste (such as used tissues) and disposable cleaning cloths can be stored securely within disposable rubbish bags.

“These bags should be placed into a second bag, tied securely and kept separate from other waste in the room in which you are self-isolating.

“Keep these bags aside for at least 72 hours before putting into your usual black wheelie bin”.

Communication with guests that are in self isolation or are unwell will be conducted via mobile phone, text or email.

 

Guests who become unwell after departure 

Public Health England (PHE) local Health Protection Team will contact Pineapple Estate to discuss, instruct and advise on any actions or precautions that should be taken.

 

General Data Protection Regulation

If requested to do so, Pineapple Farm Holidays Ltd will release the full name and contact details of guests, to any duly authorised body, who are either treating, or tracing patients, or suspected contacts with those who have, or may have, COVID 19. 

Guest will not receive prior notification of this release of data and by booking give their consent.
